Customizable Domain Analysis

چکیده
Generative and Component-Based Software Engineering are approaches to reuse. Within both approaches the scope of reuse can vary between general purpose and application specific. We argue for scoping the reusable assets based on a product line. Domain analysis methods provide processes for determining the common and varying requirements for a product line. However, we experienced that existing methods have problems concerning applicability and instantiation support. Therefore, we have developed the Customizable Domain Analysis (CDA) method. CDA is customizable to the project context where it will be applied. This ensures that the method and workproducts used for modeling are appropriate for the specific needs. CDA also provides full instantiation support for specifying systems in the product line.

Accelerated Method for the Reduced-Parameter Modeling of Head-Related Transfer Functions for Customizable Spatial Audio
Many spatial audio (“3D sound”) systems are based on the use of Head-Related Transfer Functions (HRTFs). Since the measurement of these HRTFs for each prospective listener is impractical in many applications, developers frequently use “generic” HRTFs (e.g., from a mannequin), sacrificing the superior spatialization that could be provided by “individual” HRTFs. This paper presents an improved me...
متن کاملA Meta Model based Configuration Approach for mass-customizable Products and Services
We argue that extensibility is the key factor for domain independent mass customization solutions concerning product and service modelling and configuration. A modelling approach for hardand soft-customizable products and services is introduced. To achieve extensibility a metamodel based strategy is chosen concerning modelling and implementation aspects. The meta model is based on a flexible an...
متن کاملA New Formalism Technique for OCL
Modeling, especially domain-specific modeling has growing importance in many fields of software enginering, such as modeling control flows of data processing for example in man-machine systems. Customizable language dictionary and customizable notations of the model elements offered by domain-specific technologies makes software systems easier to create and maintain. Visual model definitions ha...
متن کاملCustomizable Retrieval Functions Based on User Tasks in the Cultural Heritage Domain
The cultural heritage domain dealing with digital surrogates of rare and fragile historic artifacts is one of the most promising areas for establishing collaboratories, i.e. shared virtual working environments for groups of users. However, in order to be considered a useful tool, such a system must reflect and support the specific tasks which are typical for the domain. The system design presen...
متن کاملCustomizing Sentiment Classifiers to New Domains: a Case Study
Sentiment classification is a very domainspecific problem; classifiers trained in one domain do not perform well in others. Unfortunately, many domains are lacking in large amounts of labeled data for fully-supervised learning approaches. At the same time, sentiment classifiers need to be customizable to new domains in order to be useful in practice. We attempt to address these difficulties and...
